The short version
You do not need an account to use this site. The calculators run in your browser. The numbers that you type into a calculator are not sent to us and are not stored by us.
What we count
We keep simple daily counts so that we can see which pages and calculators are useful: page views, calculator starts and finishes, the websites that send visitors to us, and short search terms typed into our search box. These counts do not contain your IP address, and our own counting does not use cookies.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and time of request, for security and to keep the site running.
Analytics and tag services
If we turn on Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, they may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure visits. You can block them in your browser settings or with the opt-out tools that Google provides.
Advertising
If we show advertising, for example from Google AdSense or Adsterra, those companies may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads. Their own privacy policies explain what they collect and how to manage your choices. Ads are labelled as advertisements.
Third-party data
Some tools may request public data, such as exchange rates, from other services when you use them. The source is shown on the tool page.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to improve the site.
Your choices
You can use the site without sharing personal information. You can ask us to correct or delete any message that you have sent us.
